Transportation and Gate Access Instructions
Shuttle from Downtown Berkeley BART station
To use the free Berkeley Lab Shuttle, take the Blue Uphill route, which is easily accessible from Downtown Berkeley BART Stop. The map of the Blue shuttle service for the Symposium can be found below.
Present a printed copy of your Visitors Pass and Government Issued Photo ID to the shuttle driver and state that you are attending the “Bay Area Postdoc Symposium”.

Car
We strongly recommend that attendees take the Berkeley Lab Shuttle from the Downtown Berkeley BART Stop to the venue. However, if you do plan to drive, enter through the Blackberry Gate located on Cyclotron Road (at the top of Hearst Ave, see the map above). Present a copy of your Parking Pass and Government Issued Photo ID to the security gate personnel and state that you are attending the “Bay Area Postdoc Symposium”. Please expect a wait time of around 15 minutes to get through the gate. A parking permit can be obtained by request online no later than August 30th, 2018.
